The Ira H. Hayes American Legion Post 84 in Sacation, AZ annually commemorates the anniversary of the WWII Iwo Jima landing and flag raising. This year marked the 64th anniversary since this major World War II battle. My grandfather, Harlan Rosvold fought along with fellow Marines in the Battles of Saipan and Iwo Jima and was invited to take part in the commemoration.
