Hockey Day In Minnesota 1-20-07

On January 20, 2007, Fox Sports North went live with 11 straight hours of hockey programming, including three games.  This gallery shows the events that took place at the Xcel Energy Center and Mariucci Arena.  Programming kicked off at noon on Saturday from the set at the "X." The first game was a high school matchup featuring Baudette and St. Paul Johnson played on the frozen Baudette Bay.  The action then moved to Mariucci Arena, where the Gophers defeated Denver 5-4.  The game ran a bit late so FSN's coverage of the Wild game began in about the middle of the 1st period.  I arrived during the 1st intermission and watched the Dallas Stars defeat the Wild 2-1 following a team record nine round shootout.  After the postgame show, Hockey Day in Minnesota drew to a close.
